| Adjusted and tightened seams on backs of chairs. Corrections were made but most issues cannot be corrected by simply adjusting. Clipped loose threads from around units. Back panel was opened on the bottom and both sides. Back side of arm panels were pulled tighter to bring patterns vertical lines into place. New tack strips were used and repositioned, so the back panel is no longer wider at the bottom. Horizontal lines could not be brought in line with each other. This is due to 1: the staple holes in the back panel would show if positioned where it needs to be. 2: the sewing was done at an angle, leaving the pattern permanently out of square. See photos. Seat casings were also sewn with the pattern out of square. |
