| Attempted to secure side rails to footboard on bed by locking into place with rubber mallet, but customer stopped me as customer noted she did not want the unit “banged on”. Attempted a different approach to repair. Disassembled bed and found that the rail hinge holes were slightly off, but alterations could have been made to resolve. Customer refused and noted she did not want any alterations or adjustments to be made. Customer noted she only wanted the rail and footboard to be replaced and would not allow me to proceed with the repair. Customer pointed out “existing damages” on the rails as there is missing finish. Inspected unit and found several areas with same distressing. See photos. |
